Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.

If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:

But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. [continues next]

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. [continues next]

[continues previous] For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: [continues next]

Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; [continues next]
