Unto me men gave ear, and waited, and kept silence at my counsel.

O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. [continues next]

Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy. [continues next]

Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily. [continues next]

I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.

And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down into the grave unto my son mourning. Thus his father wept for him. [continues next]

The things that my soul refused to touch are as my sorrowful meat.

And what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt? [continues next]

Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand. [continues next]

And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.

With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:

Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth. [continues next]

His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
